Sam Jay brings it back home to spit some truths at The Wilbur

Not only is home where the heart is, but it’s also where your people vibe with you the hardest – and that’s especially true for Sam Jay, as we will see firsthand once again come next spring.

Per the announcement shared earlier this week, the stand-up powerhouse and Dorchester native will be making her way back home for another throwdown at The Wilbur on May 2. With a brand new hour in the works following the success of her 2023 HBO special, Salute Me or Shoot Me, the critically-acclaimed writer and comedian returns at a time where her refreshingly blunt and unapologetic brand of comedy is arguably more needed than ever. Especially considering the fact that we still can’t stop thinking about her eviscerating set at the Roast of Tom Brady in 2024, the return of Sam Jay is forever a main event in our eyes — even if “Sam Jay Day” won’t be celebrated in the city of Boston for another month at the point of her return next year.

As well, Jim Breuer and Zarna Garg are ready to make their own respective returns to the area via Medford’s Chevalier Theatre, as Breuer preps for an April 23 return, while Garg sets her own coordinates for May 16.
