From the moment he stepped into the stand-up spotlight, Daniel Sloss has been nothing if not impressively thoughtful and tactful in his one-man show delivery. However, as he returns to the U.S. with a new show, he’s seeming a bit more “bitter” than usual.
As announced earlier this week, the Scottish comedy superstar has plotted his return to American soil with his all-new show, Bitter, which brings him to The Wilbur on August 7. With his 13th solo show on the horizon, Sloss looks to add to an already decorated trophy case, which includes multiple box office records, highly successful off-broadway runs, and sold out shows in 55 countries thanks to the deeply methodical approach he’s taken with past shows like Jigsaw, Dark, Socio, Hubris, X, and Can’t — all of which have garnered some form of critical acclaim as Sloss continues to change the game, one expertly crafted joke at a time.
Also setting up shop at The Wilbur will be Modi, who returns to the city with his Pause For Laughter tour on March 26, while Donnell Rawlings makes a Wilbur return of his own on May 8.
Tickets for these can be accessed via venue pre-sale now by biting the code VANYA. Public on-sale begins Friday (November 14) at 10 a.m. ET.
