Watch Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie get passionate in the ‘Wuthering Heights’ trailer

Wuthering Heights
Warner Bros

Three things stand out to us about this trailer for Emerald Fennell’s adaptation of Emily Brontë’s “Wuthering Heights“. First, we’re keenly aware that we’ll get a billion emails from publicists should we leave off the quotation marks, so we’ll go ahead and honor this typographic buffoonery to spare everyone the hassle. The second is Goddamn, this is an attractive motion picture. Sure, the cinematography looks nice and such, but everyone’s so… movie-star handsome. We love a little glamor every now and then, and putting Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie in the leads is a great way to get us back on the treadmill. Finally, we’re absolutely delighted that Charli XCX is doing new music for this — you better bet there’s a tie-in record coming out right around when it hits in a few months. What’s that? You can already pre-order it? Well, you probably should!

Anyhow, Warner Bros. looks like they’ve got another hit queued up with this one, and the trailer they dropped earlier on Thursday looks pretty cool.

Peep it:

Whoops, wrong Wuthering Heights. Sorry.
