Do you feel that? The fuzz radiating from a lineup containing PINKLIDS, Paper Lady, and Nurse Joy, among others? That’s the feeling of festival material, and this year’s Boston Fuzztival is covered in it.

The annual celebration of regional rock has revealed its next slate of performers, and this fall’s edition is another brigade of fuzz ‘n’ buzz. The festival will bring 18 acts to Somerville’s Center for the Arts at the Armory on Friday, September 19 and Saturday, September 20, stirring a mix of hardcore, pop-punk, ethereal dream rock, and every ragged type of riff in between.

Per tradition, a hefty chunk of performers are returning after appearances at past editions, such as Rong, Bong Wish, and Paper Lady. Massachusetts-based newcomers this year include Space Camp, KO Queen, Makeout Palace, Winkler, Ohio State Fair, and PINKLIDS (pictured above).

Psychedelic dream pop band NOVA ONE — who perform at the Newport Folk Festival this weekend — will return to rep Providence, while newbies Robber Robber will import post-punk from Burlington, Vermont, and T!lt bring grungy alt-folk from New Haven for their Fuzztival debut.

“There’s been a lot of momentum for local bands over the past few years and this year’s lineup aims to showcase that,” reads an Instagram post from the festival about this year’s edition.

Single day passes ($20) and two-day passes ($30) are on sale now; check out the announcement for this year below.
