‘Napoleon Dynamite’ won’t forget the crystals at Chevalier Theatre

Via Bill Blumenreich Presents

Heat up your dang quesadilla, pack your pocket full of tots, and get some pampers for you and your brother while you’re at it, because the spirit of Napoleon Dynamite is on its way back to the area.

As announced earlier this week, the pride of Preston, Idaho — and the entire Gem State in general — is making its way to Medford, as three stars in Jon Heder, Efren Ramirez, and Jon Gries are packing up the Dodge Santana and bringing the magic of the cult classic film to a live audience at Chevalier Theatre on April 30. The night will kick off with a screening of the iconic indie film, followed by a live Q&A with the beloved trio, as well as a smattering of improv and game show elements to boot.

It’s been a few years since Heder first brought the film to a live setting in the area, but as he and his friends return to make all of our wildest dreams come true to celebrate the film’s 20th anniversary, this one already feels different.

Over at The Wilbur, Anthony Rodia and Jessica Kirson are planning their own return stops in the city, with Rodia bringing his Laugh Till It Hurts tour to town on February 7, before Kirson makes her way back for one night on April 18.
