Wet Leg are coming to North America. Look busy, as the saying goes.
The Isle of Wight five-piece founded by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers have been plenty busy on these pink digital pages and literally everywhere else lately, dropping certified SOTY-contending banger ‘catch these fists’ exactly a month ago, the first taste of hot shit new album moisturizer on July 11. The animated track landed on our V List roundup of our favorite songs of April, and Fanduel odds are highly lucrative that it’ll appear on our Year In ReView come December (if we still have society by then).
Between now and that time, Wet Leg take their fiery art-rock to our American shores for the north american moistourizer 2025 tour, which apparently comes spelled differently than the album’s moisturizer title. What is going on here? Does anyone know?
Regardless of what the English do to proper spelling, Wet Leg will sass up 17 dates on our humble shores including a September 14 appearance at Roadrunner in Boston. Also notable is a September 17 show at Summerstage in New York City’s Central Park; a September 21 festival date at Shaky Knees in Atlanta; and a tour finale October 17 at Los Angeles’ The Greek Theatre.
“moistourizer is coming to get you north america…” the band writes on Insta. “yeah yeah yeah yeah it’s a party in the usa”
Can’t spell the new tour without “u”. Tickets go on sale May 8 at 10 a.m. local time.
